I'd have a word with Lepsons about the wheels, they don't look too bad to me.

Can't help with the wheel, but I'm sorry to hear your tale.

Good luck with it all frown

Those wheels will refurbish absolutely fine - I scraped a high kerb at some speed in my SL before Xmas and made a right mess of the faces, far far worse than your damage there (no buckling or bending though). Took them into TWS who checked them over and they fixed them - good as new - I've had all the wheels off for cleaning since and don't know which ones were even damaged.

You'll be fine smile

I use this guy for my wheel work on my Ferrari magnesium rims. He really is good.

The Ferrari wheel on his front page is one of mine.

Wheels should refurb up, worst case just get the lipse changed, here is a company that may be able to supply.

A friend had stainless steel lipse made up by a company in Germany, I forget there name but can find out if required, for his 993RS Speedline 3 piece splits.

If they are proper 3 piece rims, then you could probably get some new outers made by Image wheels - they do custom and one offs.

You could try wheelwes and edition38... I wouldn't be suprised to see a set of wheels like the OZ's on a mk4 golf! :shakeshead:

I've never used them, but I have varying reports on different forums about the strength/ quality and reliability of Image bits. Might just be internet hearsay, but the general opinion is that they aren't brilliant.

What exactly is wrong with a MK4 or any other golf running OZ wheels?

But despite that, he is right, in fact I think there are a set of 17" Futuras for sale on E38 at the minute for around £600.

Gutted for you matt. take that wheel to the alloy wheel specialist on tyburn road by spaggetti junction, they work miracles there mate. They did some for me and one looked worse than yours.

What's your issue with golfs then and wtf has that got to do with anything.

OP - Try http://www.tunershop.co.uk/Wheel_accessories/Outer...
The schidt radinox outer rims are dam tough, certainly stronger than the standard BBS outer lips found on RM/RS wheels. Oh and the Futuras look beautiful on your Espirit - hope you get it back up to scratch (excuse the pun) very soon.

Diamond Styling are great. They sorted the rims out on my C43 and even had the diamond cutter to get the correct milled finish.

They can also do all manner of repairs.

Used to be in NW London now in Kent somewhere.

Do you live in or around Solihull? 99% sure that I saw your car parked up the other week in Cranmore. It's a big shame to see the damage that has occured, its a very nice motor.
