New Stratos stuffed into a wall!

Don't know the exact details, or how bad it is.
The car has been over here in Mallorca for this weekends VII Rally Clasico Isla Mallorca.
Thursday evening was the first stage. I didn't go this year, as usualy the competitors take it quite easy being the first day.
I've been looking forward to getting some pictures of the car since I heard it was entering as a 00 car.
I haven't seen it all weekend, and this afternoon at a BBQ some friends told me it got quite badly damaged on the first stage on Thursday evening.
Does anyone have any more info?

Well I heard it was quite a mess.
Must've been his wife as co then, as it was the same name.
Sad thing is, apart from the fact it's damaged, is that as a 00 car it wasn't even competeing.
At least he owns the moulds.
It rained all day yesterday, and last I heard 8 cars where damaged. I saw three on one section. A MKII Escort with a moderate front, a 911 with a heavy front, well no front from the windscreen forward actually! and an Elan, which I'm pretty sure was an R26 with quite a bit of frontal damage
Roads here are like ice in the wet, especially the light coloured stuff.
Thursday was dry though, but it does get humid in the evenings, so can get a bit slippy up in the hills.

Sad news and I hope they're OK - BUT - Glad to see it was being used as intended and upheld the lethal reputation that comes with the Stratos name. It'd be more tragic if it was just locked in an airconditioned bubble in some Swiss industrialist's shed and just left to gawp at for years rather than being used.

Well, it seems it started the second stage on day one, and it didn't finish.
But I can't get any info on what happened to it. No one has seen it since!
Even a friend who is close to the rally organizers can't get any info.
It seems to have been spirited away and everyone's buttoned up.
So untill I see a picture it's all just speculation and gossip. Who knows?
