Good Drop off point on the M4

Hi people, i'm new to this forum so bear with me, i'm driving down to wales on the weekend and so is my mate in his car, so im looking for some local knowledge on a safe place to ditch one of the cars not too far down the M4 , im thinking Wokingham somewhere but if any of you pistonheads have done the same sort of thing, please let me know.

If you come off at J11 and head into Wokingham there is a lay-by about 1000yds from the roundabout on your right which would be fine to use and is a safe place.

How about some of the little villages off from J11 at Reading? Go down the A33 instead of towards the town centre and there's a couple of hamlets, only a mile or so down from J11.

If I was parking an posh, unlocked car with no Tracker in a layby for a weekend, I don't think I'd put the location on the internet...

Unless it's a Police sting operation in which case hats off to you, that's elaborate entrapment...

Come off at junction 10, A329 for wokingham if you want to leave it there are some residential streets not to far from the junction, or the John Nike, Coppid Beech hotel if you turn towards binfield your probably safe leaving it in either place for the weekend, left my car there plenty when drinking at a mates near by.

Or you could leave it in Bracknell, I could tell you the name of a pretty quiet street where it wouldn't get noticed, but probably best not to broadcast that on the Internet.
