Should I or shouldn't I? (Kind of a what car thread)

Evening Pistonheads massif,

This isn’t so much a what car thread- more of a should I or shouldn’t I thread….

Me and the other half have found our self in the position where we need a second car. Its going to be used as a run about and to get my OH to the tram stop 2 miles down the road. I’ve got an Audi A3 (and before I get attacked I know it’s a posh Golf and I don’t tailgate etc ) for ‘best‘ but we really need a cheap banger. It needs to be cheap to run and insure and cheap on bits (I can do most of the servicing myself). I’ve stumbled across this;

What do you lot think to a Ka and more specifically this one? Apparently it suffers from only a tiny amount of rust and has been under-sealed.

The chap selling it is nice enough and he does seem to know his stuff, although I get the impression he has been messed about a bit recently.

The budget is about what this car is up for. I know you guys know your stuff so what do you reckon?
