Deepest Pothole in Britain?

Just saw this article on Orange Website.

4ft deep pothole

Does a whole city count? If so, then Sheffield is one big pothole. The roads are a disgrace!

Round here there is a series of about 15 potholes either side of one of them small road humps that you can barely feel in a big enough car, makes for uncomfortable driving though.

Although it's undoubtedly a big hole, I'm pretty sure even a small hatchback wouldn't go in so far you couldn't climb out of a window.

Christ the mother's Kia Picanto would be sitting at the bottom of that on all 4 wheel I imagine. Imagine doing a fair rate of knots then hitting that.

ETA: Having just gone onto the Nissan site, take an Outlaw v6 dCi and throw on some styling bars, running boards, a Snugtop XTR, some carpet mats and some parking sensors, you'll be looking at getting a little bit of change from £46k!

True though that is, I don't know anyone who's ever paid close to retail for one. New Aventuras where available for £18k not very long ago.
