Can't believe what I just saw..

Ok so on the way home this evening heading into town, the line of traffic is doing a steady 20mph. Behind me is one of those slightly camp Mitsubishi Warrior pickups, reg J66 NJW, travelling at the same speed, just the driver in the vehicle.
In my off side mirror I spot a biker filtering along the right hand side of the queue behind, and I prepared to move over to the left slightly to expediate his progress. Now, the speed we were going probably didn't necessitate filtering, but he was doing nothing wrong. What happened next astounded me.
As he began to pass the warrior thing - and remember we are travelling at 20mph and the biker 5-10 mph more - the driver flung his door open into the bikers path!!
Biker managed to slow/swerve around the door, quite understandably gave him a w
ker sign - which was returned - and continued on.
He looked at me as he passed me as I gave what I hope was an "are you ok?" look, but didn't stop. If he had I'd have been quite happy to back him up to the police, although quite how we'd have managed to stop and converse with this nutter behind us I'm not sure.
I can't think what went through his mind when he did that, or exactly what he was planning to say to the biker, all the witnesses in the traffic, or the police had a collision occurred - which only didn't because of the bikers actions.

Wow, that's crazy. If it was me on that bike, I would be taking note of the registration and using some sophisticated means to track the vehicle and the driver down...then it would be time to teach some people a well-needed lesson. Or make them lose the use of their limbs so they could never open a car door again.

someone did that to a mate of mine who was in the lead of a group of us going up the M1 - all stuck doing stop start and us filtering at about 20 - which was lucky or he'd have been taken off.
unlike your example we stopped and had a chat with the driver however.

Those warrior type pick-ups are pretty much always driven by utter cocks anyway, usually with mandatory private plate, stupid 18" alloys and wker lights.
OP - Have you considered reporting this to the police, just in case this cock tries it again? Maybe if the police have his reg, they might look out for him?
