Man Hires Gang To Smash Gallardo

Sounds like organised crime, but this was his own car...

What do you do when you're unhappy with your Lamborghini Gallardo? Have the dealer take it back? Complain to Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann? Get in touch with the service Manager for Asia-Pacific? Call upon parent company Volkswagen group?

One Chinese businessman did all these after his local Lamborghini dealer failed to fix a recurring problem on his Italian supercar, but to no avail. In the end he decided to hire a group of workers with sledgehammers to destroy the supercar- which costs the equivalent of a whopping £465k in China.

Apparently, after the car failed to start last November, it was taken away by the local dealer, who failed to fix the fault but managed to damage both the front bumper and the chassis before returning the car.

The businessman - a Mr Han - decided to pull the stunt on World Consumer Rights Day, to highlight his dissatisfaction with Lamborghini's customer service. Or perhaps he was just miffed that his Gallardo wasn't the newer LP560-4 model...

either that car is made from granite or the 'workers' are a little on the weak side.

the one in charge of the right hand rear corner had to hit the tail light 3-4 times to smash it, with a sledgehammer FFS...........

Man with way too much money, to the point that it has no value. I mean he could've run a raffle and give the proceeds to charity, or just donate the thing... Using the theme of 'buy a ticket or the car gets it', he could've come up with a clever idea that would have probably raised even more money for charity than the car is worth, he would've still got his point across to Lamborghini, plus he comes out of this looking like a hero, instead of a slightly demented waster detached from reality.

i find it strange when people say "repost" to main page articles. i bet about 90% of the readers of PH don't read every thread in the forum section, so they wouldn't read the articles otherwise

I got 12 secconds in and couldn't watch it any longer, what a complete waste of a stunning car.

I can see his point, i would hire a gang to hit the people at the garrage with hammers if they bent the chassis and front bumper because it clearly shows they have been tearing arround in it.
But i can't watch that....
