Anyone used a Priority Start? Battery Drain Problem

Just wanted to ask a quick tech question about the priority start. ( of those who have used it) website here http://www.noflatbatteries.com
If my car is alarmed its 2004 cayenne with battery drain problem(had it on multi meter and its going down from around 12.60 to 12.00 in 24 hours, then to 11.50 next day etc..., its standard Porsche fit alarm that came with car.
If the car does drain down with the priority start unit in place, once the priority start unit turns the battery off, wont the alarm then activate ???
Or does the car have to be unlocked for alarm not to start sounding ????
Or does the priority start do something so the alarm doesnt sound ???
Just dont want the car to drop down to the level the priority start unit kicks in at 3am in morning and wake up the neighbours,
Other option is to fit a solar panel trickle charger, but i dont think it will be powerful enough to overcome the drain ???

Whats peoples opinion to what you think would be the best option from above.
Ive already had it into a Porsche specialist and had numerous parts replaced, new bosch battery etc... so dont really fancy forking out more £££'s if i can use one of the above to get rid of the small battery drain i have present.

I've used the Priority Start and Battery Brian - both super bits of kit.
The Priority Start will automatically disconnect if the battery voltage falls to a pre-set level and then reconnect if it senses a change in load. For example the interior light coming on when you open the door.
The disadvantage is that if the car is electrically centrally locked (TVR) you can't get at anything to trigger the reconnection.
Also, the battery will discharge to the pre-set level before the disconnect is triggered.
The Battery Brain allows you to disconnect/reconnect the battery at will (I have the remote control version on my Morgan 3 wheeler). This allows me to leave the car and disconnect the battery whilst it's fully charged. The Battery Brain will also auto disconnect at a pre-set voltage but will then need a manual reconnect.
Neither device has caused any alarm or ecu problems.
So if you want a fit and forget safety net and can unlock your car with a key the Priority Start would be my choice.

Easy enough to see how you car reacts to the battery being disconnected - err no I guess its not - as the alarm may not set with the bonnet closed 
Sounds like a fairly serious drain. I imagine a car like that has a fairly substantial battery.
What is the actual current draw? - If you have spent money and no one has measured it - then you need to change garages....
the item you are looking at looks more suited the occasional 'left in the airport car park for 2 weeks' rather than for regular tripping ?
