Thinking of replacing my wife's Audi TT with another one as she likes the car, but its getting on a bit now...

What are peoples opinions on the Peugeot RCZ? Does it really deserve the "Aldi TT" tag I hear people referring to?

I have to admit not to driving one yet, but I sat in one yesterday and it does not give me the same impression of quality the TT does...

Aldi TT? That's a LIDL harsh, don't you think?

Having seen a couple on the roads now, they have alot more presance than an Audi TT.

Know what you mean... The one I looked at was White... In the flesh all the proportions look wrong...

I've warmed up to their looks a little bit when seen in the flesh, it seems to look worse with a very different coloured windscreen surround eg. black car with silver windscreen, but looks much better in white with silver, for example. The contrast doesn't help its shape.

+1 I think they look great (apart from the corporate nose)

My concern would be interior quality which is unlikley to be as good. They will be much rarer though if thats important, TT's are 2 a penny.

After seeing it loads in person I gotta say it's much much more better looking than the Audi. How it drives though.... I have no idea. If I had the money I'd get neither to be honest.

These have popped up on my radar, I took the OH to view one a few months back and besides the price (£25k) I was impressed with the showroom version they had in, since they I have seen a few on the road and been less than impressed, however, the other day I seen a white one with black roof, wheels & trim - I assume it had been lowered because it looked awesome, very low/wide and menacing smile

It needs a proper engine rather than a JCW Mini engine tongue out

I think they look fantastic, bold move from Peugeot. As above though, they need details, I'd be tempted to lower it slightly with some (much) wider wheels.

Just a shame they're fwd. A RWD coupe would have been awesome...

True, there'll be a Safeway through it all.

Pointless post of the year, but do all Aldi's look the same? I swear that's my local one

ETA, nope I've just checked and it's a Lidl... although I'm not sure what the difference is exactly

EVO mag have it up against the TT and vw coupe thing in this months mag. I have not read it yet though.
I think they look great, the TT is so boring now, and i assume the pug is far cheaper.
