Motorcycles and red routes in London

Just thought I would post in case you guys miss it. Sounds like a sound idea to me, just keep those hadlights on so the dozy motorists can see you. I only got the email as I am registered for the congestion charge, for my one trip a year to London

I am writing to let you know that motorcycles can currently use most bus lanes on London’s Red Routes as part of a trial period ending 23 January 2012.

Please look out for motorcycles when turning across bus lanes as they can be hard to spot.

Thats not exactly new news ,the signs been up for bikes using buslanes on red routes

for months

Looking at the link, seems you are right, started last year, wonder why they just sent me an email about it, mind you, it is a government website, say no more
