Want to hire something interesting in Europe, with a catch

We're flying over for my sister's wedding this summer in France, but coming out a week early and going to Spa for the GP, then driving down through the twisty bits. Obviously this would be a lot more fun with something interesting rather than your usual hire car, but it seems telling them you want to pick the car up at Brussels Airport and drop it off a week later at Nice Airport makes everyone freak out.

Does anyone have any suggestions for car rental companies? Sixt look the most promising, but the XJ isn't available, and I'm waiting to see if they'll let me have the XF (worst comes to worst they seem to have a 3 Series). Avis are boring as fk, which is a shame as I'd earn BA miles with them, and Hertz are ludicrously expensive.

Tbh I had a friend from the USA over and he has been smitten by Alfa 159's ever since, since he didn't even know about them before he came here.

Maybe not the most interesting car, but a great drive and pretty exclusive if you're an American .

I'd be up for an Alfa if anyone rents them. I actually only moved over to the US in 2002, so am familiar with most of what's on the road, just haven't driven any of them.

Not sure they'll let me pick up in Brussels and drop off in Nice either. Which is probably a good thing as far as my wallet is concerned!
