ADAC Breakdown - is there a 200 euro limt?

Hi . . . boring question I'm afraid.
I am considering taking ADAC Plus cover out. I've read a number of posts across a few forums (including this one) but I am still confused in respect of getting a tow home if I break down abroad (for me, the main reason to take out the cover).
I read the ADAC T&C's (via google translate) and it states that I would be responsible for any costs over 200 euro’s. These could be considerable, hence my apprehension.
Some people have commented that the 200 euro limit only applies to breakdowns in the UK, but I don’t read it like this.
Has anyone got any views or experience . . . . before I tackle ADAC directly.
