Driving home from work tonight, massive detour, quiet back roads sun shinning and not cold for a change. I actually said to myself "it dont get any better than this". Proved to mylsef that the price of your car dont matter, one of the cheapest cars ive owned but one of the best.

I worked it out to be more like 73%.

I love getting the roof down on mine, but I don't see the point when it's just a short journey across town...

Drove home tonight following a Tigra CDTI convertible for some of the way - the clouds of smog coming out of the back of that thing at every roundabout were horrendous! Glad I was not in a convertible actually, I think I would have died from breathing in all that soot. To much traffic for an overtake too, but when they turned off and the roads opened up a bit I did get a chance to get my foot down a bit

Too short a journey between work and home to make it worthwhile. Had the roof(s) off while I was cleaning the interior while at work though, does that count?

Funnily enough the first car I saw today with the roof down was a Eunos Roadster while I was going to school. I gave the guy driving a big thumbs up. Before hand I had seen an S2000 and a mk2 MX5 with the roof up. Then when I had had my college interview I went into town and saw a mk3 with the roof down, and a BMW 3 series convertible with the roof down. Seems like the afternoon = roof down time.

Saw a bright orange Murcielago roadster with the roof off on my way home. My god it was nice. Proper smile inducer

iirc isn't that the only way to drive it? The roof is just a piece of fabric with some metal bars.

Took the MAC out for a blast late this afternoon, fantastic weather. If it stays nice it'll be the bike tomorrow!

Even if its a 5 min drive it only take 5 seconds to throw my roof back and enjoy my car as it was meant to be enjoyed (and thankfully I have two options driving to and from work, the country roads or the motorway)
