Sending tyres? How much do they weigh roughly?

I am selling some 17" tyres and someone is interested in them- I have to send them though. I have no idea on how to do this.
What is the best way of packing them?
What does each tyre weigh roughly?
Etc

Got any bathroom scales?

Weigh them, then put the dimensions and weights into www.parcelmonkey.com.

I've had very good service on a number of occasions posting motorbike and car tyres

Don't bother wrapping them up, just tape 2 tyres together and send as 2 parcels, most tyre suppliers don't wrap them in anything, just stick the labels to the tyres

Yup,label with address stuck to tyre,no need to wrap it.I posted a 17" tyre just by Royal Mail and it was about £9.00 I think

thing is you pay by number of parcels don't you? I'm thinking os taping 2 together, would the consider this 1 parcel?
