Seem to remember an item about this in Evo one month, can't remember the details but they were saying if you do prang a car, just go out and say you did, don't ever try and hide it because it will haunt you forever.

He got off lightly here though. Impressive how he managed to just hit the wheel and not touch the bodywork?

Believe me, the call to a manufacturer to advise of damage isn't a pleasant call to make.

It must be even worse on a world debut launch in front of your peers, where cars are in limited numbers and you've effectively grounded one of the fleet for a couple of hours (when the total drive time probably isn't much more)

I can sympathise, but I blame the shades too....
