I'd say for the Japanese driver it's more of a habit/assumption that one has to indicate at each direction change no matter what's going on around them. The bloke in the wonderful E4 coupe not only failed to indicate but also ignored the stop sign.

How were we supposed to see that from a static pic? Indicators flash and the photo doesn't show what he done 2 seconds earlier.
Well, now we know, is this where we are supposed to slag off the standards of driving in the UK and proclaim how the Japanese are so great that even when they're about to die they still indicate? This is silly.
