PH Giveaway: Win British GT And F3 Tickets

Being the generous sorts we are on PH, we like to run the odd giveaway or two. It being the start of the motorsport season, we thought we'd treat you to a motorsport-related freebie.

So, how about a pair of VIP tickets to the opening round of the Avon Tyres Britsh GT Championship at Oulton Park this Easter weekend? (With the Cooper Tires British F3 International Series chucked in for good measure).

The field for the 2011 British GT is about as varied as you'll find in British motorsport, with entries ranging from Aston Martin DBRS9s, Mercedes SLS AMGs, Ferrari 458s, Porsche 911s Audi R8s and even an Ascari, through to the likes of Lotus Evoras, Ginettas (including the new G55) KTMs and Chevron GR8s.

The F3 might not be so varied in its metal, but the earnest young guns hoping to be the next Senna, Hakkinen, Button or Webber (all of whom trod the British F3 path in their formative years) should certainly provide plenty of excitement.

As will a host of supporting races, such as the Vokswagen Cup, the fiat 500 Abarth one-make series, the Ginetta challenge and Formula Ford.

If you tire of the racing, Avon Tyres will lay on free food and drink in the official championship hospitality unit on the Monday, and get the chance to walk the grid before the Avon Tyres British GT race.

To enter, simply drop an e-mail to [e-mail] with the subject line 'Avon Tyres British GT Tickets', not forgetting to include your name, a mobile phone number and an address to send tickets to, should you win (your contact details will not be used for anything other than this giveaway).

The prize is for one pair of weekend tickets (although there is only stuff happening on the 23rd and 25th, not the 24th), with full hospitality on the Monday only. Entries close on Friday 8th April at midday, and we will draw a winner at random from the PH electronic pith helmet and notify them within 24 hours of the closing date. Good luck!

Of course, if you don't win you can book tickets through www.motorsportvision.co.uk or by calling 0870 950 9000. Weekend tickets cost as little as £21 if booked in advance and children aged 12 and under get in free.

I take the little one to watch this each year, it's a good fun day, Oulton is great for spectating, especially if we see some sun :-)

That pics a few years old, since I started edging towards my late twenties I can grow a fairly convincing beard now.

Seems a shame to waste it, and it goes quite well with the MGB

Pfft, well no guarantees, you know so many people ask for one that it's difficult to keep up

Seriously though, identify yourself as a PH'er and I'll quite happily show you around the car (assuming I'm not about to get in it to qualify or something), I usually loiter around the awning if I'm not needed somewhere!
