Matte yellow paint?

Hiya, Im thinking about spraying my 200sx (s14a) matte yellow..

Hopefully abit like this LP640 -- http://carad.ebayimg.com/i6/04/a/000/7b/52/cca2_4....

So need abit of help....
Where can i get the paint from?
Will be be as easy to apply from a spray can as matte black??
Do i have to use a laquer for this kind of paint?

Most matte paintwork is vinyl wrapped

halfrauds do a yellow primer = matt finish.

wouldnt want to comment how long it would last!

Just go to B&Q and pick a matt colour you like and buy some rollers. Mask up and get going.

Did it on a Ratty 205 a few years ago. Good finish and lasted over 6 months until I sold the car. Didn't even key the panels or put any primer on. Jetwashed it a few times too.

Thanks for all your replys! Im guessing it has been wrapped but was hoping that somewhere sells a matt yellow paint Ive had a look round b&q, but cant find what im looking for..

What kind of paint can be used on a car by the way & you say apply with a roller???? lol i was thinking more along the lines of rattle cans but if i roller will work :S

Slightly off topic, there was a Matt Purple S13 at a like driftin' in-it show and one of the knuckle draggers actually said....

"That matt paint is like well buff man".

Matt paint on a car is a big bag of trouble. Avoid.

Matt wrap? Well, at least you can get rid of it without a respray!

Just noticed this. Yes you need a super high gloss laquer to really bring out the mattness.

I know that but if anyone is daft enough to want to ruin a car with matt yellow paint maybe they're daft enough to fall for that.

If you have a compressor and gun buy any paint you want and add matting agent to it, not a lot will give you satin, a lot will give you matt.
Dont use primer it's porouse propper matt paint isn't, matt can be tricky to lay on without leaving lines, satin is easyer IMHO

Just key in the panels and get cracking with a roller from B&Q...amazing what a quality finish a huge tin of gloss paint, an afternoon and a crate of beer can get you.

The attached masterpiece was once a rusting blue heap, now it's a rusting white/red heap...
