Don't expect anything "reasonable" till you've been on the road about 5 years.
Or hit 25 ... whichever comes first.
I'm still getting laughed at for insurance and I'm 23 with 3 years experience.

You need to get yourself a learner driver onto your policy it saved me over £200 this year. Ridiculous i know but it did.

Saying that im 23 with no no-claims to my name. I've just got a quote of about 500 pounds for a 1.4 engine swapped 205 with some gubbins extra. Couldn't beleive it.

Maybe insurance comapnies just hate dub?
