Is it just me...I like cars!

Well to be frank I know its really bad but I enjoy driving exactly when I want and where I want,I enjoying polising my car,I like its loud exhaust,for this I appologise ,however like it or not the car is the lifeline to most things we enjoy and 2nd most important purchase we make in our lives,an essential item an aspiration for many carried sice childhood.
Now forgive me but it seems to me (call me stupid) that the happier we are in our cars the more we go out,the more we go out the more we shop,the more we shop the more the government earn through fuel tax and VAT ect.
I havent done the maths (not that I could!) but can the government not see the empty roads the failling buisnesses,the tax grab dwindling?They have IMO relied on the motorist for too many decades for taxes, if we all stop driving beacause we cant afford it they loose 81p per litre in tax plus god knows how much else in VAT ect,what are they doing making everything we enjoy so expensive we cant afford to do it anymore?why with ever increasing traffic local councils are pedestrianising everywhere and restricting traffic flow making car use a nightmare we need cheaper petrol more roads and free bloody parking then we will all get off our backsides and go out and start enjoying our sad lives.

It's simple, the government tax us to death because it's the only way they can afford to pay for their lies. And it doesnt matter that it was labour that ramped the price up through the roof, all politicians in this country are theives, and aren't in politics to help make britain a better place, they just want to line their own pockets, and massage their almighty ego's by telling the general population what to do

Very sorry 4Q its actually a problem when I rant online,usually caused by filling my car with fuel or tearing my front spoiler off on a slow hump! I just type furiously and hope for the best...or worst.I can't read it!

And close the shops on a Sunday, cut the overheads and let people going back to spending time with their families, at car meets, or driving them to the seaside for a pic-nic or fish and chips, in the rain, in a car that smells of stale cigar smoke, wet dog, leather and faux walnut.

OH FFS GIVE THE CHAP A BREAK. OK ,the punctuation is v poor and his post doesn't flow very well, but it's not as if its in txt spk and it's not illiterate - and he makes a reasonable point.I can't read it!
