I'm sure many people have thought of this before, and I'm also sure someone has done a thread about this somewhere... but I couldn't find one so I guess not.

Imagine you could make some sort of "Dream Team" of car manufacturers, 2 or more car companys collaborating and using their own best attributes to make the best car they can:

Which car companys would you like to see work together and why?

I'll do mine to get the ball rolling;

• Body Work: Zenvo & Alfa --- I love the aggressive styling of the ST1 and I want to see more, and the rear styling of Alfa's at the moment is 2nd to none. Anything 4C'esque would be great.

• Engine: Mercedes-Benz AMG --- Such powerful engines with so much potential (see Zonda) and they sound incredible
• Interior: Pagani (i.e. Hauyra style interior) --- I love how you can see inside the gearbox, and gorgeous in general

Obviously you could add other specific sections like Exhausts, Doors etc.

Let your imagination loose...

Sort of I suppose. But I'm saying I'd like to see more than just a supercar, perhaps a hot hatch? or a sedan?

Perhaps you could make an input? or don't you like cars?

I'd love the styling team who designed the interiors and exteriors of the 90's TVR era (Chimaera, Cerbera, Tuscan etc etc) apply their styling to cars built by the Japanese with Japanese components. And also a more realistic approach to the modern day, models like a 1.6 or a 1.8 turbo wouldn't go amiss with maximum attention being given to handling and dynamics to create a car with the lower power, higher control appeal of the MX5.

I'd also like to see the lightweight hot hatch return. I'd like a team of designers to take the hard lines and aggressive, masculine shapes of 1980's Giugiaro and Bertone designs (Lancia Deltas, Renault 5 turbos etc etc) and build a new generation of lightweight, lower powered hot hatches. Alternatively, I'd just like the see the classics like the 5 Turbo and the 205 GTI return with tough, modern components.

I like it, and I do really miss Lancia Delta designs...

This is a problem though most cars look quite femanine today, with the odd exception of beefier cars e.g. Audi A5, Focus RS, Mitsubishi Evo.
