Gf's next door neighbour works for lotus and often brings an evora back every weekend.

in my mind it's a jaw dropping car in the flesh, just looks right from every angle. The fact it drives like it does is the cherry on the cake for me.

I'm still not sure on the back of the car, but the front looks superb and the interior is lovely!

52k Cayman R v 69k Evora S.....

I do think it's disingenious of Autocar to mark the price up as 59k in the test as the car tested would actually cost 69k - good value after 3 years @ an estimated 25,800 according to the magazine...

I suppose 69k is useful practise for the dealers what with the new model line-up but awfully expensive and close to an R8....

As said, with the necessary 2 packs on it, it is in some serious territory like a 911, a GTR, an R8 etc.

The only major let down seems to be the sty Camry Gearbox.

Sure. (In the magazine they compare it to the R though...)
