Just found a video of my car being drifted on a roundabout

Was just browsing through videos on youtube when I found a video of my car before I owned it being drifted round a roundabout. This may explain the slightly scrubbed tyres
Before we get into it, I think this kind of thing should be kept to the track.
Has anyone else stumbled upon their car's troubled past?

Looks like those dodgy alloys have seen some serious abuse!

I don't think I've ever bought a seriously abused car aside from my Saxo VTR, which I suspect was probably driven like a hooligan judging by it's slightly worn condition. My Fiesta Zetec S had likely had a few enthusiastic drives (as it's K&N air filter suggested) but that was in good nick. My Focus was owned by a woman for all of it's life until I bought it at 68,000 miles and it had been meticulously cared for, so I doubt it ever saw a hard time. My Mazda has a full book of stamps too, with services every 6000 miles so I suspect it's been looked after too!

I'd be less than pleased if I discovered a video of it being drifted on a roundabout!

Yeah the K&N air filter should have been a clue really. Oh well, 20,000 miles later it's still fine so no harm done I guess.

Not me, but I was told a story by a guy in the trade who sold a nearly new SsangYong Musso to a retail customer. Said customer returned to the dealership a few weeks later brandishing a copy of a 4x4 magazine and an extremely cross face. It turned out his new Musso had been a press car and was pictured in the magazine being hammered round an off-road course, including a shot of it up to its headlights in muddy water, and another of it airborne over a crest!
