Help me choose a car!

Hi Guys,

I've got about 2-3k to spend on a motor. And have so far considered a few things but cant seem to settle on one thing to try and track down.

Requirements are ; Reasonable poke, Avg 30 mpg, no more than around the 100k mark & enough room to get kites & wakeboards in the boot without folding the seats down.

Have considered the mk1 Octavia VRS. Mondeo ST TDCI, Saab 93 Turbo, 3/5 series.

Anyone else have any other good recommendations for something similar?

The Saab 9-3 Aero (210 BHP 6 speed manual) is a nice car for the money! I had one and liked it a few years back

Volvo V70 T5? bags of room and pretty quick.

Audi A4 TDI?

The 2 below are other options but slightly less MPG

Subaru Impreza, early versions?

Mitsi Evo 3 /4?
