What harm have done to an engine?

Over the years I have killed a few engines in various ways and below is the crank out of my track Dolomite Sprint and even the guys who have raced them in Aussie for years have broken most bits but never a crank.
Did I do a good job?

thats a mess, I guess there is no chance of re-using anything in that engine.

Everything from the intake manifold down was toast, heads/block/etc etc... even the turbos had to be worked on..

Wow slinky that is horrific and I bet the noise was something else.
You have def out blown mine LOL.
Mine is running again with a change of crank as the block and caps were undamaged thanks to a crank brace.
