Fancy a chance to ride in a 1927 Vintage Bentley at the Vazon Charity Sprint on Saturday 16th April 2011.
British through and through, the Bentley 4½ Litre is famous for winning the 1928 24 Hours Le Mans and later in supercharged form attaining the speed record in 1932 at Brooklands of 138mph. James Bond drove a 4½ Litre in 3 of Ian Fleming's early novels

Charles Amhurst Villiers was a good friend of Ian Flemming and he (Villiers) spent his early life tuning a Bugatti for hill climbs, get a copy of "The Man Who Supercharged Bond" it's well worth a read.
The Factory where Tim Burkin built his Blower Bentlys is now either a Tops Tiles or fast food joint, not sure which as they are next door to each other.

I saw one of these today near Swansea, the car had a number '8' painted on the grill and was finished in green. i also know said chap, an awesome car to experience, he took me run in it from wick along the top of Scotland past Dounreay once, and he certainly doesn't take it easy with the thing. he also has a few other tasty things stashed away. t out of it.I am in the fortunate position of knowing quite a lot of people with 20's Bentleys and have spent a lot of time in and around a large number of different cars. They really are every bit as good as everyone hopes they would be. There is nothing that can beat them for road presence and the feeling of utter satisfaction you get when hooning around.
