Hi all,
Myself and a few friends are for the 1st time trying to decide on a route from London across Europe ending in Monaco so we can watch the Monaco GP which is on between 26-29 May. The priorities of the trip are to drive some good roads, take in some excellent scenery and maybe hit a few bars/ clubs that are well known for being good fun! We would like to keep it as cheap as possible, about £700 per person.
Im not a massive fan of Paris or France in general so would prefer to avoid it as much as possible
The initial route is as follows
London
nurburgring - maybe but not sure
stelvio pass
Modena - visit ferrari, lambo factories
Milan
monaco for the gp
col de turini
Now this is just a preliminary list of waypoints but i dont know whether there are better options along the way
Does anyone have any suggestions:
on how to better this route ?
which accommodation to stay at that is good value and keeps cars safe?
good sights to see enroute?
which roads are good for driving
Any help would be greatly appreciated, we are really keen to book up asap.
Thanks

Interesting that you've stated your proposed route, then asked if anyone knows any decent roads/hotels/points of interest. Shouldn't it be the other way around?
You need to be clearer in your aim. Is it to:
Drive some great roads;
Visit some well known places;
Watch the Monaco Gp?
And please don't say "all three". One has to be the main aim around which the other two can fit, otherwise you just end up achieving less than 50% of any of them.
Unless you get very lucky, I suspect you'll be a bit disappointed with trying to cram so much in to what will probably be quite a short trip (£700 won't go far) and at the same time, the roads won't be break-of-day Top Gear empty unless you go and drive them at the errr.....break of day.
Stelvio is a case in point. They hold a warehouse full of Dutch motorhomes and German 55-seat coaches at the bottom of the valley, and set them free every morning as the clock strikes 9am.
All of your bullet points could be a trip in themselves, so IMHO a better bet would be to rationalise what you want to do and revisit the route accordingly.
