Another what car thread, inspiration required

Having just sold my TVR T350 I am on the look out for something else, I have been scanning the classifieds for weeks now and still don't have a firm idea on what to get! I plan on test driving some cars in the next couple of weeks, here's my list of potentials so far... Budget is around 30k.

996 911 Turbo - This is my favourite so far but concerned these are 7+ years old now and don't want to buy into something with big bills looming
997 C2S - Little over budget and might be a leggy example at the lower end of the market?
Cayman S - These seem pretty good value for money at the minute
e90 M3 - Seems a good all round option
z4m coupe - A bit boring?
Scirocco R - Hard to find it seems!

I have a daily commuter car which I am also planning on selling and going back to one car, the new car will not be doing mega miles on the commute.

Cars that are out:

Noble M12 - If I was keeping the 2nd car I might consider it, but not as an only car

What else is out there worth considering? The other cars I have looked at seem a big leap in price upwards (Evora, 911 GT3, V8 vantage, GTR)

For your budget, you can get Evo's and Impreza's with plenty of cash to spare.

Audi RS4 maybe?
