Hire purchase

I've just been browsing one of the big car dealer's sites and see they're doing hire purchase on some older cars. Seems to be back to '02. I've just found out my company car can't tow (Oops) so I want a 4x4 car for weekend towing my bike trailer and (hopefully purchased soon) trailered track day car.

Never done HP, are there any advantages in getting an older car on it or is it best just by cash or unsecured loan?

IMO on an older car, cash or unsecured loan will always work out cheaper than HP through the garage.

I would just find the car you like and then compare the options, almost certainly it will be cash that's cheapest though!
