after much deliberation, soul searching and general frustration i have finally decided and gone and bought one. got a mk2 golf gti 16v, in blue with 91000 genuine miles, not bad for a 22 year old car. its absolutely lovely to drive, so much nicer than my A4. heres a st pic i took when i got her home, ill get some more up when ive given her a clean and polish

Is that a BBS bodykit too? I don't know how desirable they are these days but they're certainly thin on the ground and worth looking after.

it is indeed the bbs bodykit, she even has the original factory stickers in the windows and old school vag logoa on the plates, its got a bbs postcard in the handbook inviting the owner to a factory tour circa 1988, well chuffed
