Over the years there have been some cracking hot hatches. So vote for your favourites, ones you've owned or just ones you like. Multiselct is on so you can vote for more than one.

Apologies if your chosen hatch isn't on the list, but PH Polls are limited to 10 answers, and as you can see it was quite easy to fill up 10 options with ease.

For the context of this thread, a hot hatch is a FWD only hatchback.

This list stinks half the cars aren't even hatchbacks let alone hot hatches.

There are 2 coupes on there that would have been aimed at the same kind of person who buys a hot hatch.

No, the ZS was available as a hatch (as pictured) or a saloon which had an Evo style rear wing. And remember the ZS is the same platform as a Civic, so are you telling me Civics also shouldn't count?

For me anything with a tail section wether it opens like a hatch back isn't a hatchback, so a civic is and that mg isn't, neither is the 'teg tbh

for me a hot hatch is a (relatively) cheap to run, front wheel drive car with an opening hatch on the back, which is why i think the DC2, Corrado, Puma, ZS and any other car that fits that criteria is a hot hatch IMO

As a Civic, but which one?

Best hot hatch is the EK9 Civic Type R, which I'll forgive you for missing out as it wasn't sold in the UK.
