Mclaren MP4-12C, with odd exhaust?

Saw this MP4-12C in Warwickshire today, not uncommon as they're storing them in an industrial unit near where I live so see lots, but what struck me about this one was the circular extended exhausts. Anyone got any ideas?

Number plate is suspicious. Probably got a remapped 335D engine fitted.

To be honest, we followed him down the Fosse for a bit, at pace. Made my M6 feel pedestrian

They are called "Marmon Flanges" (pffnar pffnar) they are used to couple the exhaust in an airtight manner to the CVS on emissions test chassis dyno's
