Which Merc have I just seen?

Currently sitting at my desk in Holland and I've just seen a new looking Merc drive by.

Looked a bit like a Skoda Yeti. Not a C Class estate (too boxy) and not an ML (not that big or tall)

Any ideas?

I nearly got ran over by a woman driving one of these this morning, I was walking past and she just flung it in reverse. Swear she meant it.

I've never heard of this car - every day is a school day. I have to admit, it was not without it's appeal.

There was a "will they, won't they", but I thought MBUK had seen the benefit of a smaller 'off-roader' at present.

Not sure why though, it's thought that re-tooling costs were deemed too expensive as it's harder to rework the 4wd LHD cars as RHD due to the mechanical bits sending drive to all wheels (technical terms there) - however in a popular market sector surely they would've sold better than the unloved 4wd R-Class?
