Your favorite Top Gear scenes

I'm currently sat at home on a day off wasting my time looking at previous episodes of Top Gear.

We all know that it divides opinion here on PH and I will agree to an extent that the latest episodes aren't quite as good as the ones from a few seasons ago for some reason - they just seem more and more contrived.

But my lord when TG gets it right there ain't half some epic scenes that either impress the life out of you or get you thinking.

That R500 lap is awesome and very funny how much expensive metal it beat on the board. Good value for money that one

For me it's gotta be the epic road trips in a selection of battered old vehicles. U.S., Africa, Vietnam, etc but I think the one across the rainforest with the 4x4s has to be my favourite....

These are my favourite too, it can be silly at times but there is always great camera work of thse amazing places and I genuinely do enjoy the rapport the presenters have with each other on these trips.

I am also a fan of the one where they go to a classic car rally because they really respected their cars and (it seems) had a good time doing it.

To be fair, those plum-nailing shots are pretty hilarious!

I think my favourite was the V12 Vantage one linked above - incredibly emotive, and really did make me realise that petrol wasn't going to last much longer
All time favourite country crossing was America too - scripted or not, Top Gear nearly always makes me chuckle!
