Replacement for an old MOT certicate

Hi all,
I hope someone can help. I have a car which I am currently selling. I have every single MOT from its first one in 1995. I have just transferred the private number plate from the car I am selling to the one I have bought. The thing is during the transfer process I mot'd my car again to give the buyer a years MOT. Instead of replacing the mot certificate I sent off which ran from May 2010 to May 2011 with one which shows the new number plate they sent me a new one with the new registration on it which runs from April 2011 to May 2012. This means that I am therefore missing the MOT certificate from May 2010 to May 2011. I really want this as it means I then have all the MOT certificates and it is a good selling point. I know it is possible to get a copy of your current MOT but can you get a copy of an old one?

if you go to where the test was done they can print a duplicate of an old certificate

Will cost a tenner, maybe.

Some do it for free, the ministry say you can charge a tenner per duplicate.
