The 4.2 should do you, the 5.0 will be way over budget. I have a 4.2 S/C and highly recommend it. If economy is a concern you can get it converted to LPG, or get the 3.6 TDV8!

Also, when we went on a journey in one you were looking at around 15 mpg around town and 19 on the motorway. Although we were ragging it a lot.
