Selling a car?

Hi guys,
I currently have my car for sale (no links here as i don't wanna break the rules!) it is an E30 318is. Just wondering how long it takes you to sell a car that is fairly priced usually? As i've only sold two cars in the past and got rid of both within two days but this one has been up for over two weeks with only marginal interest. It is fairly priced (not cheap but not expensive either) as im not overly keen on selling it anyway!

Am i being impatient?

I would imagine there would be quite a limited market for that car which is probably the cause of the lack of interest. Everything I've sold has gone within a week, but they've been more modern and priced very competitively

A lot of people on holiday at the mo' so could be that. Also, with many people paying for holidays or all the recession problems there might be less cash around at the moment, but then that just means it's the price.

I must admit that I always find it odd when people say "I can't sell my house/car/boat/horse/gran - it can't be the price because I think it's fair". It is usually the price and it's the market that defines the price by the number of people buying or showing interest, not by the seller's opinion. Sorry if it sounds a bit harsh - difficult to really know without knowing more detail. There'll always be a buyer at the right price.

It could be the price, probably is to a degree but all the others ive seen go for that (infact the others for sale are more expensive at the moment and not really any better condition wise etc). I suppose the market is limited aswell, if it was a small diesel hatchback it'd be different!
