Help identify a car

Sorry no pics of this one but its something I saw on Sunday around my home town. It was a white radical/ktm/211 style thing maybe even single seater, whatever it was its primary role was track slag but in road legal. Only badge I could see on it was something saying like GTR-R or perhaps GT-R

Anyone got any ideas?
