E36 Cab window bent during break-in... garage in SE London?

A few months back some scrotes kindly decided to break into my E36 cabriolet. At the time I thought they'd simply put the passenger window through but on closer inspection by the autoglass dude, it looks like they tried to prise the window out and ended up breaking it that way.

Autoglass guy replaced the glass ok, but apparently was unable to fully adjust the runners. The result is that on closing the window, it doesn't go up "into" the roof. It's a couple of mm too far out, so hits the edge of the roof and stays there, leaving a small gap between the passenger window and the small back window on the passenger side.

Greasy fingers is not my area at all, so I wondered if:

1) this sounds like something that can be adjusted?
2) if not, can it be "made" to work with a little pursuasion?
and 3) does anyone know of a garage around SE London/NW Kent that may be able to take a look?

I should have got this sorted sooner, but work has got in the way, but now the sun's out I need a fully working convertible!

only if you want to see Mr Autoglass again.

the guides have been bent, adjustment would I'd suggest be very possible.
shame you can't take the door card off and take a look yourself.

What is the name of the manufacture of the new glass?

I ask because when my BMW E36 coupe had the passenger window broke, the first glass they fitted was doing exactly as you described, they tried for nearly 2 hours to adjust it right but couldn't.

Ended up being a badly manufactured window,even though it fitted perfectly into the runners but just wouldn't seal properly at the top and where it meets the rear passenger window.
The only difference visually was that the original had a "black band" down the side and the new one never, they got another window with the same "black band" from a better manufacturer and it fitted and sealed perfectly.

The fitter told me some cheaper brands of replacement glass are not great fitting on cars with frame less doors.

Just thought i'd pass that info on in case you get new runners and still have the same issue.

White - When I suggested "pursuasion" I was talking more about taking the door panel off (me or a garage) and pursuading from the inside runners point of view, rather than simply bending the glass back into place. Just wasn't sure if there was much you can get to.

Jack - Not sure of the manufacturer but the replacement glass does have the "black band". Could be a possibility though, so thanks for the suggestion.
