2000 W Reg Ford Mondeo headlight bulbs?

Hi, both my headlights seemed to have stopped working at the same time, I have sidelights and full beams but I cannot see any difference between sidelights and main bean... Has anyone got any idea why they would have both gone at the same time? Also, how much would it cost to replace them with standard headlight bulbs and does anyone know what the very best headlight bulbs I could get for it are?

Could be headlamp switch..

Chances of both bulbs/fuses going at the same time is pretty remote.

Unless you have been driving around with only 1 dipped headlight working, and now the other has blown?
