Garage Door Openers/ Fobs

Hi guys. I have just had a new garage door fitted to my garage today. It's a remote fob operated door made by "Qualsecure". Anyway, the suppliers wants some horrific amount of cash for an extra keyfob. 2 came with the unit, but that's one for the key chains of me and the wife. I'd like one in the house, and possibly on the keys of the soon to be acquired 3rd vehicle!

So, searching on ebay I find lots of fobs available. Question is, can I just buy anything and program it to the "rolling code" controller on my door? Will there be a limit to how many I can add? Also, as an even neater solution, is there a version that can be integrated into the car better? Maybe in the engine bay somewhere and I can use a discreet switch to activate it?

All the car ones can be programmed but you have to buy them from the car manufacturer which is expensive.

Usually all of the remotes are programmable but the people that fit them don't want you to know that!

If you can find out who originally made the fob you have and call them direct it will be a lot cheaper.

One mine, the garage door company wanted £100 each for the fobs. The original makers of the fob charge £30 each!
