Yes, the 405 advert - beat me to it.

I remember watching it during the commercials for Top Gun. I couldn't have been more than 5 years old. Absolutely amazing.

That, and for some reason the first Vectra advert, purely because of the music.

Oh, and I quite like the 'Dream the impossible dream' advert by Honda last year.

The original Audi Quattro from the eighties, advertised chasing a glider up a hill (car rocketing up dirt track, glider coming down). Glider lands on top of hill as Quattro bursts over horizon and handbrake turns to halt next to glider in James Bond-esque scene. Black tinted window goes down on Audi as glider canopy popped, elegant female hand extends out of window holding car phone "Roger, your mother's on the phone". Brilliant. Never been able to find it on line.

Or the Shell advert from the same era with the Porsche pulling into the petrol station (924 I think), person fills up, goes into shop, buys sunglasses and cassette, pays, (all really tight shots of just hands or items), gets into car, fuel guage flicks to full, shades on, cassette in tape deck, Born To Be Wild starts to play and Porsche burns off up road. Brilliant. Never been able to find it on line.

This was run in cinemas as what appeared to be a trailer for a really cool film.

It wasn't, the film didn't exist, it was a very subtle Mercedes advert.
