Why don't motorcycle gearbox's need syncros?

I had an original Fiat 500 with a non syncro crash box. Bit of a PITA.

I also have a KR200 Messerschmit which has a bike derived sequential style box. Per all other bikes I've always wondered how a crisp change is possible sans syncros.

Can somone enlighten me?

Because they use constant mesh (otherwise known as Dog) boxes.
More effecient, but noisier than syncro boxes.

don't use the clutch for anything other than N > 1St and pulling away
