I've seen them only once the other week on an Astra.

They are more pointy and taller than the ones people often put on a beetle.

And if i see it again, i'll be pulling the driver over and taking a closer look at them. I dont recall the road traffic act allowing the driver to 'attach large long pointy implements to the front of a motor vehicle'. I could be wrong though.
