One would think that a goodly number of PH posters seem to interact with the BiB a great deal more frequently.
Once, at 17. Was late night racing (my one and only time) with my mate. Him in a ratty old Mini, me in my even rattier old Maxi.
Classic racing, but I was behind and so was the one who got followed by an unmarked. Didn't realise until about 300 yards from home, they had been following me for about two and a half miles, while I had been giving it as many beans as it had left.
"Not a racing car, is it?", said Mr Plod.
"No, it isn't. Sorry.", replied I.

When I was younger, I got pulled a few times. At 17 I had an XR2, at 18 a Renault 19 16v and at 21 a Smart Roadster Brabus.
It was half and half as to whether I deserved to be pulled. Sometimes I didn't (read: fog lights on when I couldn't see the other side of the road due to fog, and for "not slowing down on a corner" which was open and visible. I was in the Brabus which handled very well).
Other times, I got pulled quite legitimately. I obviously passed the attitude test as I was very apologetic, admitted my errors and professed my sincere regret for, quite frankly, some stupid driving. Luckily the license didn't get bashed for it.
Now I drive a Saab 9000 and don't seem to get any bother
Despite this, I have classic FM and a flat cap at the ready, just to throw the copper off the scent if I get tugged!

Only time in the last decade was a breathalyser but they were setup and pulling everyone coming off the Aston expressway at about 1am.
Sadly I was excited at the prospect of trying one for the first time and the officer decided to let me on my way without getting a go.
Actually make that twice, got a random pull driving home late one night, pulled me, asked me to confirm my details and were on their way.
Was pleased on both occasions to see them out and about proactively looking for drunks/stolen vehicles etc.

Stopped three weeks ago, on a DC, trundling along at 65 happily, knowing plod was behind me.
Stopped me, asked what the limit was, 70 I replied. Well he said, what was I doing, 65 was my reply, he then went on to trot out the old line of, well I had to do 80 to catch up with you, so you must have been going faster. I wanted to explain that since he was waiting to enter the road at the previous roundabout doing 0mph and that I was crossing the roundabout at 25mph then accelerated up to 65, physics would require him to go faster to catch me.
He also told me his car was calibrated and mine wasnt, so which would hold up in court.
He did a few checks, then told me my car was uninsured so gave me a producer just for my insurance certificate.
Next day down at the station I produced said document and asked the lady to check the PNC (having checked ask MID the previous night and seeing it was insured). Surprise surprise it was showing as insured, she claimed it was probably added at midnight...despite the policy being in force since august and passing many traf pol and anpr vans.
So thank you PC plod, you successfully managed to waste my time completely, however I enjoyed his comment about my car having the largest engine he had supplied a producer to outside of trucks.

Not had the flashing lights though, just pulled into a petrol station and got a knock on the drivers side window. £60 fine for an illegal plate 
Was only a double space, flag at the side instead of "GB" and a font where the sharp edges were took off a few letters (not illegible or scrawly at all)
I accepted the telling off and changed plates though and moved on

was stopped this morning in a sleepy local village doing 44 in a 30 with no belt (which I've been doing for the last 22 yrs 
)
the very nice man asked me if I wanted £60 and 3 pts for speeding or £60 for the belt..................I took the belt option
I did ask him if he had nothing better to do on Easter Sunday morning
time before that was a year agoish and 3pts for 75 in a 60 on a dual carriageway
time before that was about 10yrs ago, so if you'd asked me yesterday I'd have ticked the 10yr option
