I'd stopped off at our local Tesco express the other night and parked outside was a lovely black Audi A5 with those RS4 style 19" wheels and looked immaculate. I walked past admiring it and the owner was putting his kid in the back, as he did he placed his bunch of keys on the roof, I wanted to move them to prevent him damaging the roof.

I also cringe when people put quite new cars (or anything for that matter) through automated "Scratch-o-Matic" machines.

What motoring bad habits make you cringe and think "You'd never catch me doing that"?

Not really cringe but sitting on the clutch on hill/junctions or traffic lights you'd assume it's mostly women but men are just as bad!

Just makes me think how much more premature wear they're adding to the clutch or when thier release bearing gives up.

Drivers that wait until the light goes green before they even think about putting it in gear and moving away.

People who spend hours 'detailing' their cars, when 5 mins in the local petrol station or with the local Eastern European crowd produces similar results.

I saw a lovely new Jag XKR coupe the other day with a light coloured interior, the driver was puffing away on a ciggy with all the windows up.

People who fill the boot with sharp stuff, then close the tailgate, rubbing the heating element on said sharp stuff.

Oh, yes...

THAT BLOODY WOMAN YESTERDAY, WHO PARKED HER TESCO TROLLEY AGAINST MY CAR WHILE SHE LEANED ON IT TO LOAD HER STUFF INTO HER CAR...

She'll have floated a fair way down the river by now...

A more representative argument would be, people who spend hours detailing their car only to have it ruined within minutes of driving it or showing it to the local eastern Europeans

Forgot about this along with balancing the clutch, really does boil my piss! I don't know how people can do it without cringing imo.. rather save it for taking off properly wink

You shouldn't let it bother you, it's their problem, not yours.

I hate people who keep their foot on the brake at traffic lights, at night.
