Classified con men ?

I advertised my old Jeep on the classifieds a couple of days ago, I'm only asking 500 quid, but I have received a series of e mails from 2 individuals Desperate to buy the Jeep.
One supposedly from Dublin the other from Central London, both are too busy to look at the car but want to buy, and will arrange for someone to transport the car to their location (I'm in Scotland the cost would cost a lot more than £500 !) - they requested I give give my name address etc so they can send me a cheque

Now call me a cynic - but why do I suspect that there will be 'problems' with sending me the cheque and they will later request my bank details so they can pay the money directly into my account

Has any one else been targeted with this nonsense ?.

Of course they could be eccentric Millionaires who collect old Jeeps !.

Aye nothing but the same with my S3, two months its been advertised, 2 genuine interested parties and about 10 scammers lol

These scammers dont seem to put in much effort into their messages to make it look real.

Would a genuine buyer send a cheque to buy a car they've not seen and get someone to deliver it from a location thats miles away from them.
