Sat Nav - The perfect addition to any pre 70's car?

Had my TomTom for 2 weeks now and it has really put the pleasure back into motoring with me spending most of the time in very little traffic on country roads that even though near my house I have never used, plus getting places quicker to boot.
So re title of the thread. If you had a pre 70's car, a sat nav in the right environment would be a great way of turning back the clock to an era of minor roads, less traffic and bizarrely more fun. In effect, putting your car back in its comfort zone.
