E46 M3 - how many rear seats?

Basic question, but are there 2 seats or 3 in the back of the E46 M3?

IIRC, 3.

There is an option of a 3rd three-point harness, which I think also gets a thirds head rest. Without that, I believe its a lap belt.

The cabriolet has only 2 rear seats.

It's a serious squeeze for three adults. If you want to put three children in, then you probably don't need a third head restraint. You'll never fit three child seats in it though.

I saw in a motoring mag recently there is a company that makes BMW rear seats for children, the whole bench in a 4 seat version..looked very impressive..if you are that way inclined?..they probably do 3 seat adaptions too, though I cannot remember the firm..google search
