BMW Serv ice History Needed

Can anybody help me on retrieving my service history for my 2001 bmw 325ci. Any information you need to help me is avalable. Service history seems to have magically disappeared so need to make a duplicate and send it to the garages that is has been to.

I actually don't understand what it is you need to be 'found'. You're able to provide information to find it, but you don't actually have the service history information? If you're the registered owner and it has had BMWSH, why not just go to a BMW dealer, prove the car belongs to you and ask for the service information?

I seam to remember that BMW have a premium rate number you can call, they will provide the name of the dealerships and dates when services and repairs/recalls were carried out.

Because it never come with the car! I have traced some services where its been to bmw but dont know any more of them. need to get this new service book upto date with all the stamps

You didn't check this when buying it then? Or has it magically disappeared? It either came with it and has been lost, or it didn't come with it and you hadn't checked. Would be more helpful to have the full story so people can advise you accordingly.

If you have details of where it has been, those places should be able to provide copies of the invoices etc if you can prove the vehicle belongs to you. However, for anywhere that you don't have documentation for, its going to be pretty tricky trying to track them down to be honest. How about asking the previous owner??

This, or go to a dealer and explain the situation and see if they will help.

I have spoke to bmw and they have record up to 2007 and another garage have history for 2009 but didnt know if they was anywhere that i could find out. or like the e36 when you hold the needle in on the dash

As others have said there is a premium rate number (google it) you can ring for BMW and they can give you brief details of services carried out by BMW. It is then a case of ringing each of the dealers for the full history/replica service book.

Alternatively if you speak nicely to your local BMW dealership they have the same info on their warranty system (although a few less helpful delears will claim that they don't).

If it hasn't been done by BMW I don't know how you expect to trace it, it could have been done anywhere.

Make sure you have the chassis no and Reg number to hand in case it's changed plates during it's life.
